Back to School Pep Rally

Jaws Youth Playbook is a charitable foundation established by former Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, Ron Jaworski. Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of at-risk youth, mainly in the Greater Philadelphia Region. We go to a different community each year to host a Back to School Pep Rally presented by Bradford White. This year, we supported the Harrowgate PAL Center in Kensington on August 3, 2026!
We were joined by many of our sponsors to hand out all the necessities to give our youth the best start to the upcoming school year!
The day was filled with smiles and joy as the Harrowgate PAL also hosted a Block Party where all our youth could enjoy themselves with food, fun, and community!
Many factors contribute to a student’s likelihood of falling behind in school. One major factor is family income. Students from low-income families graduate at a rate 15% lower than their peers from wealthier households, creating an “opportunity gap.”
That’s why we give each child a new backpack with all the necessities to ensure their school year is bright. After all, our youth is our future.

Ron Jaworski Foundation, Jaws Youth Playbook, hosted our 2nd Annual Back to School Pep Rally, presented by Bradford White. We gave out hundreds of book bags, filled with school supplies. Additionally, we distributed healthy snacks, shoes, socks, and laptops from AT&T to help the students of the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia at the Strawberry Mansion PAL! The day was filled with smiles and happy campers, excited to start off their new school years right!
