$25,000 Donation for the Work Group
Ron Jaworski’s Foundation donated $25,000 to help the expansion of The Work Group‘s counseling center, Joe’s Place.
The Work Group’s works hard to ensure a full-time combination of academics leading to a High School Diploma, work experience through community service and in-person customer service instruction, and career development counseling.
Joe’s Place is a safe space for teens to come and experience high-quality behavioral heath services. Joe’s Place is named after The Work Group’s friend Joe Orlando whose dream was to provide counseling services for both mental health and addiction. With this donation, they are able to expand to a new building to continue offering outpatient, individual, and group counseling for clients ages 16 and up. They work to transform the lives of the youth by creating a safe space for them to receive the necessary guidance in all aspects of their lives.
JYP is proud to support Joe’s Place and The Work Group’s dedication to the community of Camden!
