There are an estimated 979 homeless individuals in Cumberland County New Jersey. JYP volunteered at Vineland Soup Kitchen’s monthly Community Wash Day where the community of Vineland can get a warm shower, fresh haircut, proper clothing, and a nice, hot meal.  

According to the Mayo Clinic, in a cold enough conditions, frostbite can occur in 30 minutes or less! Warm, well-fitting socks can prevent this for many people. JYP brought hundreds of Under Armour socks to help prepare them for the colder months ahead. We also donated StopPain, Herr’s Chips and a Snapples in their to-go bags.
