$30,000 to Olney Eagles to Help their Season
Ron Jaworski, a former NFL quarterback for 17 years, deeply understands the importance of a good field and a safe place to play, which helped him achieve success in his career. A recent incident for Olney Eagles Youth Football team, where someone stole copper wiring from their fields, left over 300 athletes at risk of losing their sports season as the damaged lights needed to be repaired at a cost of $30,000. When he learned of the situation, he knew he had to help. To ensure that the youth of Philadelphia have a safe space to play, Ron Jaworski’s Foundation, Jaws Youth Playbook, donated $30,000 to fix the lights, with IBEW Local 98 sponsoring the labor to do so.
At Ron Jaworski’s Foundation, we firmly believe that every child deserves a secure and protected place to play, learn, and grow. We wish the Olney Eagles a great rest of their season!
