Ron Jaworski’s Foundation, Jaws Youth Playbook donated $50,000 to North10 in Philadelphia to fund healthy cooking classes!

North10, Philadelphia works to improve the life outcomes for community members in Hunting Park – East Tioga by facilitating economic growth, increasing housing options, enhancing learning opportunities, and promoting wellness to ensure happy, healthy, and civically engaged lives.

One of North10’s many Health & Wellness services includes the 10th Street Community Market, and its goal is to address this inequity by increasing access to food in an underserved community. This contribution from Jaws Youth Playbook aims to allow these services to grow by funding their cooking classes to enable community members an accessible way to learn life skills and healthy habits.
