Ron Jaworski is unquestionably the most accomplished athlete to ever represent Youngstown State University. JYP donated $100,000 over 4 years to his alma mater for their sports media and broadcasting center.  YSU has named it the Ron Jaworski Gateway to Success. The Ron Jaworski Gateway to Success is located on the south side of YSU’s Stambaugh Stadium. All Youngstown State University athletes pass through the Jaworski Gateway numerous times a week as through these doors are the YSU Athletic Academic Center, the athletic training room and treatment facilities, the weight room and human performance lab. All three components are an integral part of every YSU student athlete’s life. The Ron Jaworski Gateway to Success will stand as an illustration and motivation to all Penguin student athletes of what they can achieve in life with hard work and determination. Funds donated will also be used for the television and production students to further their careers in broadcasting.
