Bringing Hope to Youth in Camden
Ron Jaworski’s Foundation made a suprise visit to the students at Hopeworks on Martin Luther King Day and donated wireless headphones and other goodies during their lessons of learning technology skills to work for enterprising businesses within the Camden community!
Hopeworks was organized in 1999 by members of three churches in North Camden, with the goal of offering training to high school dropouts. They provide a positive, healing atmosphere that propels young people to build strong futures and break the cycle of violence and poverty in Camden, New Jersey. Hopeworks combines education, technology, and entrepreneurship so they can build professional web design and development skills. They help assist young men and women to get back in school, earn permanent jobs, and achieve their highest potential!
