New Bikes and Lessons for Underserved Youth
We are thrilled to continue our Annual Bike Drive and keep the joy of giving bikes alive! Girls in Gear is designed to help female riders of all ages and abilities learn more about themselves, their bikes, and their community. They offer scholarships to all without asking any questions, so everyone can ride with us. The program includes basic safety training on helmet usage and safe riding, followed by practical lessons on the road. Riding a bike is not just a physical activity, but it also helps with personal growth and overall confidence.
The Jaws Youth Playbook Foundation, led by Ron Jaworski, donated 25 brand-new bikes and helmets along with $5,000 to make sure every child gets the gift of freedom a bike gives! A special thank you to our sponsors, Independence Blue Cross, Scott Payne Custom Pools and Good360 for helping make this possible.
