Jaws Youth Playbook partnered with Camden Lutheran Housing, a nonprofit that brings the residents of North Camden together to help revive their neighborhood. Together, we worked to clean up their community garden, which helps give fresh food for residents. One (1) in Six (6) Children in the U.S. are living in food-insecure households. JYP provided seeds for fresh produce and planted them in preparation for the spring, including: Tomatoes, Carrots, Lettuce, Kale, Peas, Cabbage, Zucchini, and Cucumber. We also decorated and donated LOVE and GROW pots with Community Garden Signage to beautify the space with Tullips, Mums and Dandelions. We can’t wait to revisit in the spring!
