To honor the legacy of Jason ‘Coffee’ Jones, $10,000 was donated by Ron Jaworski’s Foundation, Jaws Youth Playbook, this will be used by the Brian Dawkins Impact Foundation to implement their Owning Your Cerebral Wellness Program at various schools – including Camden High School, where Coffee broadcasted games. The program teaches students the importance of paying attention to their mental health by blending evidence-informed content with engaging digital activities. Students are introduced to the topic of mental health and the ways in which they can implement coping strategies to manage their own challenging thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. They are also taught how to support friends and family who may be struggling, how to recognize when to seek help, and how to access appropriate resources to do so.
