Duffels of Dignity Presented by Pizza Hut

The US foster care system serves over 600,000 kids annually. Every day, children are transitioned into new homes with just a few items thrown in a trash bag. That’s why we teamed up with PCF Restaurant Group for the 2nd Annual Duffels for Dignity benefiting Center for Family Services! Volunteers, donors, and sponsors helped stuff 500 duffel bags at Pizza Hut Vineland with essentials such as blankets, pillows, socks, hygiene kits, books, and tumblers.

Center for Family Services will distribute these duffel bags to the Greater Philadelphia area! These duffel bags aim to provide a sense of ownership over belongings, which youth can take with them to their forever homes.

One young man in particular was so astonished to receive a bag during what had been a rough day and it turned the whole day around. He said to his counselor how much he loved the blanket and cup inside and was very appreciative to be thought of by your team of volunteers. Our program directors also all expressed their gratitude to be able to provide bags where they're highly needed. It's so empowering for everyone.
