Our priority at Jaws Youth Playbook, a foundation created by Ron Jaworski, is to combat food insecurities in low-income communities by providing access to fresh and healthy meals. One of the ways we take action is by constructing or reviving community gardens. 

According to AmericanFitnessIndex.org, community gardens play a crucial role in reducing food insecurity by up to 90% in affected areas. This is why Ron’s Foundation donated $20,000 to The Unforgotten Haven in Blackwood, NJ, to support the development of a new community garden. The Unforgotten Haven works hard to help the community by fighting against homelessness, food insecurity, and much more. The garden will provide essential items for the entire community on a weekly basis! We were able to add a colorful mural to the space with the help of our donation, enhancing its vibrancy.
